Geneartogy Recommended by Scrapbook.com

Friday, September 18th, 2009

Scrapbook.com- the #1 online scrapbooking site on the internet recently recommended Geneartogy to it’s customers.

Scrapbook.com founder Jill Davis wrote about discovering Geneartogy and how it fit so perfectly into what she was about doing as a grandmother and scrapbooker.  To read her touching story and glowing recommendation, click here:  http://www.scrapbook.com/blogs/206/view/155827.html

The response to her posting has been terrific for Geneartogy as many of her readers and customers have since registered on Geneartogy and started building their own custom family trees.  We welcome all of you who heard about us through Scrapbook.com and we thank Jill Davis for helping us spread the word around the world.

For all of you who have discovered Geneartogy, please help us accomplish our mission of “turning the hearts of the children to the fathers” through art, by letting your family and friends know about us.   Word of Mouth has always been and will always be the best form of growth.

Two popular blogs have recommended Geneartogy to their readers recently.   We thank them for taking the time to do that.  Many of their readers have since explored Geneartogy and many of those have registered with Geneartogy and started building their own custom family tree art projects.  Here are quick summaries of the posts with links to see the full posts.

Designmom.com Recommends Geneartogy
Popular blog Designmom.com (www.designmom.com) recommended Geneartogy to its many readers.  Gabrielle Blair, the founder and original DesignMom wrote:
” Take the pile of ancestral photos you’ve been collecting, and use Geneartogy to turn them into an elegant family tree — printed, delivered to your door, ready to be framed. Wouldn’t Martha be proud?”

Ask Myrtle Recommends Geneartogy
Popular Genealogy blog Dear Myrtle (http://blog.dearmyrtle.com)  recommended Geneartogy to it’s genealogy enthusiast readers.

Myrtle wrote “Being ever the curious type, Ol’ Myrt here wondered how this wall art website worked, in comparison with other genealogy chart printing services. What distinguishes this website is that YOU do the designing, using templates and fields for typing names and dates. YOU upload previously digitized photos, though, of course, Geneartogy will help you with that if necessary.

So, www.geneartogy.com has a cool interface where you simply choose a template (one of three background designs) then select:
Size (20×24, 24×30, 30×36)

Finish (not stretched, ready to frame, framed, etc.)
Font (don’t worry, chose one, and the font style shows up in the next space. I cycles back through them, bit by bit, to see which I preferred.)
